Sustainable Materials

At the heart of our manufacturing process is a commitment to sustainability. We use Reflow’s recycled PLA (rPLA) to produce our 3D-printed lamps. PLA, or polylactic acid, is a biodegradable plastic derived from renewable resources like cornstarch. Reflow's rPLA is sourced from recycled food packaging waste, such as fruit boxes, straws, and containers, collected and processed by leading recyclers in the Benelux region. By using rPLA, we extend the life cycle of these materials, reducing waste and promoting environmental responsibility.

Why rPLA?

  • Eco-friendly: rPLA is made from mechanically recycled PLA, making it both biodegradable and renewable. This aligns perfectly with our mission to create sustainable products.
  • High Performance: Reflow’s rPLA undergoes rigorous internal and external performance tests to ensure it meets high standards. It’s easy to print and offers excellent mechanical properties.
  • Aesthetic Versatility: Available in natural, black, and white, rPLA provides a range of options to suit different design preferences. Custom coloring is also available for larger orders.

Manufacturing Process
